Lemont Hornets 9U Team Heads To Semifinals

The game will be played at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Lemont High School, 800 Porter St.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Hornets 9U football team will face the Bartlett Raiders on Sunday in the semifinals of playoffs for the Bill George Youth Football League. The Hornets are looking to secure a bid to the Super Bowl of the 9U Gold Division 1.

The game will be played at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Lemont High School, 800 Porter St.

The Super Bowl game will be between the winner of Lemont and Bartlett and the winner of Tri-City and Lyons, according to the league website. The Super Bowl game will be held Nov. 14 at Benedictine University.

Several area towns participate in the Bill George Youth Football League, including: Arlington Heights, Bensenville, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Downers Grove, Elk Grove Village, Glen Ellyn, Elmhurst, Hanover Park, Hinsdale, Lemont, Lombard, Lyons, Naperville, Wheaton, Plainfield and Oswego.
