Lemont Hosts 27th Annual Heritage Fest
The 27th Annual Heritage Fest will be held Saturday, Sept. 2.

LEMONT, IL — Heritage Fest will return to Lemont for its 27th year on Saturday, Sept. 2. The annual fest will be held from 3 to 11 p.m. in historic downtown Lemont. According to the village's website, the event will feature music, food, family fun; and all activities are free. Heritage Fest was first held in 1991, as a one-day street fair to celebrate the history and heritage of Lemont.
According to the village, the festival was so successful and has been repeated each year and has become a local tradition.

- 3 to 4 p.m., Jim & Jayne of ScribbleMonster
- 4 p.m., Budnik Clock's 20th Anniversary Celebration (in Budnik Plaza)
- 4 to 6 p.m., Johnny Russler & The Beach Bum Band
- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Petty Cash
- 9 to 11 p.m., Stephen Neal
According to the event flyer, activities for children will include: face painting, black ops obstacle course, pony rides, tidal wave zip line and more.
The Lemont Keepataw Parade will also be held Saturday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. Heritage Fest starts right after the parade.
