Lemont HS Courtyard Concert to Benefit Hope and Friendship Foundation

Lemont High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society will host a concert Tuesday, Sept. 22, to raise funds for local nonprofit Hope and Friendship Foundation.

The event, to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in the school’s courtyard, will feature live music from students that have signed up to perform, open mic karaoke for the crowd, and a bake sale.

“We are really excited because the courtyard isn’t used for much,” said organizer Carly Holzner. “It’s going to have a ’chill’ atmosphere—how I’d imagine an outdoor coffeehouse would feel.”

Entrance is $5, or $4 for LHS students. Lemont High School is located at 800 Porter St.
