The Lemont Indians 12U Americans team returned from Cooperstown finishing in the top 32 teams of 104 teams at Dreams Park. The team went 4-2 in pool play against tough teams from North Carolina, California, Alabama, Michigan and New York. The team went 1-1 in the top 32 beating a team from North Carolina with a walk off 3 run home run by Anthony Fornero in the bottom of the 6th and a complete pitching game by Jack Szoldatits. The Indians also blew open a game with four home runs in a row. The Indians eventually lost to the number one seed from Michigan who won the entire tournament. The Indians had a final record of 5-3 in Cooperstown and 29-15 for the year.
