Lemont Keepataw Parade Committee Seeks 2025 Grand Marshal Nominations
Nominate a standout Lemont resident, group, or organization by July 27 to lead the 73rd Annual Parade on Sunday, August 31.

The Lemont Keepataw Day Parade Committee is now accepting nominations for Grand Marshal of the 73rd Annual Keepataw Day Parade, which will take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 1 p.m. during Labor Day weekend. This year’s parade theme, “Neighbors Helping Neighbors,” celebrates those who take care of each other, give back, and make Lemont stronger through service, generosity, and community spirit.
Whether it’s a devoted volunteer, an inspiring organization, or a neighborhood changemaker, the committee is calling on Lemont residents to nominate individuals, groups, or nonprofits who embody the spirit of selfless service. The selected Grand Marshal will lead the beloved hometown parade and be honored for their outstanding contributions to the community.
“Lemont is special because of the people who give their time, talents, and heart to others,” the committee shared. “Even small acts of service can create big impacts, and we want to recognize someone who truly represents what it means to lift up your neighbors.”
