Lemont Library Hosts Ultimate Fan Fest

LEMONT, IL — In celebration of Free Comic Book Day and May the 4th , the Lemont Public Library will host the Ultimate Fan Fest for all ages from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the library. The event is provided at no cost to visitors and free comics will be provided while supplies last.

The library said activities include a Star Wars Green Screen photo booth, community comic book writing, special guests from the Star Wars universe, LEGO - Ozobot Challenge presented by Bricks & Minifigs of Crest Hill, create your own board game with Dan Laib (sponsored by Lemont Bank and Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank) and more.

The schedule for the day is:

• 10 a.m. until the library runs out: free comic book day giveaway
• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Star Wars photo booth (all ages)
• 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., LEGO play with Ozobots featuring LEGO creators of Bricks & Minifigs of Crest Hill (all ages, caregiver required if under 6)
• 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., open board game play (ages 11 and up), special Star Wars guests
• 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., comic book button making (ages 8 and up), Dan Laib’s design your own board game (grades 3 and up), community comic book writing (all ages)
