LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Public Library District and Lemont Park District have recently teamed up to open a StoryWalk installation at Mayfair Park. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the park July 2 to celebrate the July 3 opening of the StoryWalk.

According to a release from the library, the cost of the program was shared between the park district and the library. Boy Scout Troop 149 also donated their time and skill to build the story stands around the park.
