Lemont Library Plans Contactless Trick-Or-Treating Event

LEMONT, IL — If you're not interested in trick-or-treating around the neighborhood on Halloween, you can head to the Lemont Public Library for contactless trick-or-treating.

According to the Village's Facebook page, the event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 31. Families can visit the candy and treat bowls in front of the library, and also vote for their favorite entry in the library's pumpkin carving contest at the same time.

There is no registration for this event. The library asks that attendees wear a face mask and respect social distancing.

In addition to the library's event, the park district is also planning a trick-or-treat trail on Oct. 10. Children will walk around the Centennial Park path and will receive treats along the way.
