Lemont Man Charged With Mob Action, Robbery
Prosecutor said man ordered juveniles to rob victim while he beat him up.

LEMONT, IL -- A Lemont man was arrested after he ordered two juveniles to rob a man while he beat him up, prosecutors said in court Wednesday.
Jacob Etzkorn, 19, of the 12000 block of Hillcrest Drive, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on charges of felony robbery and misdemeanor counts of battery and mob action. The prosecutor said that Etzkorn lured a man to a remote area where he battered him. Etzkorn allegedly told two juveniles to rob the man as he battered and choked him.
The man was treated on the scene by Lemont paramedics for a laceration to his eye. The prosecutor said the man’s clothes were bloody, but he did not go to a hospital.
