Lemont Man Killed In Car Accident: Police

LEMONT, IL — A Lemont man was killed in a car accident Sunday at Main and Illinois in Lemont. The crash involved two vehicles, a car and a motorcycle which the victim was driving. Michael Havemann, 63, was killed in the crash, police said.

According to police, investigation continues with reconstruction, however, there doesn't appear to be any criminal intent in the accident. Police said Havemann was driving eastbound on Main, when a vehicle on westbound Main attempted to turn left onto Illinois.
