Lemont Man Receives Honorable Mention In Preserve Photo Contest

LEMONT, IL — A Lemont man received an honorable mention for his photo in the May portion of the Will County Forest Preserve District's Preserve the Moment photo contest. Robert Scwann of Lemont took a photo of a row of mallard ducklings, the preserve said.

Eileen Capodice of Minooka was the winner of the May portion of the photo contest. She took a photo of a great blue heron with a northern water snake in its mouth at Rock Run Rookery Preserve in Joliet, the preserve said.

Honorable mentions were also given to Naomi Fortino of Orland Park, Greg Johnson of Bolingbrook, Evi Kempf of Naperville, and Joseph Traina of Joliet.
