Lemont Monitors Des Plaines River For Flooding

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Emergency Management Agency is currently monitoring the Des Plaines River for possible flooding concerns. According to a release from the village, potential travelers on Canal Bank Road and Des Plaines River Drive, as well as bikers along the Des Plaines River route should be advised of possible future flooding.

Heavy rainfall is expected Friday evening into Saturday morning, so travelers should use caution if they need to take routes along the river.
