Lemont to Observe National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance, which is held on the first Thursday of May.

LEMONT, IL - Lemont will join the rest of the country in observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 4. The National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance, which is held on the first Thursday of May.

According to a release, Lemont pastors will meet at noon at the Lemont Police Department, 14600 127th St., to observe this opportunity for the nation to pause and pray.

Pastor Steve Meister from Emmanuel Baptist Church and Pastor Jim Nichols from Calvary Church will both be participating in the event.
