Lemont Park District, Chamber Host Halloween Decorating Contest

Lemont residents and business owners are invited to get in a some ghoulish, old-fashioned fun this Halloween. The Lemont Park District and Chamber of Commerce will host a Halloween decorating contest open to all residents and businesses within the boundaries of the Village of Lemont and Lemont Township.

It’s free to enter—just be sure to get your form in by 5 p.m. Oct. 6. Contest is for exterior decorations only; including decorations only visible from the exterior. Judging will be based on “curb appeal”; judges will not enter property to view side or back yards.

All homes and businesses must be decorated by October 20. Judging will take place October 21–24. Winners will be announced at the Halloween Hoedown in Downtown Lemont on October 25.
