Lemont Park District Spring Events: Bunny Hop Trail, Bunnygrams

LEMONT, IL — With the bitterly cold temperatures, it's easy to forget that spring is just a few weeks away. The Lemont Park District recently released its spring program guide, which includes two Easter-themed events for families.

The Bunny Hop Trail, which often sells out, will be held April 1 and is for ages 2 to 12. Several times are offered, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., for families to walk the Centennial Park trail from table to table and collect Easter treats.

It is $6 per resident and $9 per nonresident for the event.

If staying at home is more your speed, the park district is also offering Bunnygrams on April 2. The event includes a 10-minute home visit from the Easter bunny, a gift basket and a photo opportunity. It is $50 for the event; proceeds from this event benefit the Lemont Park Foundation.

Pre-registration with the park district is required for both events.
