Lemont Park District Spring Events: Bunny Trail, Arbor Day

LEMONT, IL — Although it may not feel like it, spring isn't too far away. With the approach of spring and warmer weather, the Lemont Park District has released its spring program guide, which includes plans for several events like a bunny trail, Arbor Day celebration and a touch-a-truck event.

Here's a look at what spring has in store at the park district:

• Begins March 1: Spring Take-Off Bake-Off.
• March 6: CORE Indoor Triathlon. 10-minute swim, 15-minute spin bike ride and 15-minute treadmill run.
• April 2: Bunnygrams. Home visit from the Easter bunny, gift basket and photo opportunity.
• April 9: Hippity, Hoppity Bunny Trail. Go table-to-table for treats on the Centennial Park Trail.
• April 22-24: Community Garage Sale.
• April 29: Arbor Day Celebration. Event includes a butterfly aviary, activities and a visit from Seemore the Eagle.
• April 30: Everything on Wheels. Touch-a-truck event.
• May 7: 2022 Quarryman Challenge. 5K and 10-mile road race.
• May 14: #LemontRocks. Rock painting and an ice cream social.
