Lemont Park District Welcomes New Commissioner
Steven Richmond will be appointed as a board member for the park district.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Park Board of Commissioners has appointed Steven Richmond as the agency’s newest board member. This spring, the District received a letter of resignation from previous Park District Board Commissioner Brian Pepich, the park district said in a release.
Due to other obligations, Pepich was unable to fill the role of Park District Commissioner, according to the park district.
Richmond will be appointed as a Lemont Park District Commissioner at a special
board meeting on July 13, the park district said. He is then scheduled to take the oath of office and be sworn in as a Park District Commissioner on July 27 at the monthly board meeting.

"It is an honor to be appointed as a Lemont Park District Commissioner. I am grateful to be given the opportunity to serve my community and am very excited to get started," Richmond said in a release.

As a knowledgeable business leader, Commissioner Richmond is eager to use his professional experience in sustainable efforts for the greater good of Lemont and we are so pleased to have him onboard,” said Board President Bill McAdam.
