LEMONT, IL — Lemont Police are again reminding residents to lock cars that are parked outside overnight. According to police, neighboring communities are reported that juvenile crews who are traveling the area and conducting the majority of car burglaries have now been entering residences through unlocked doors and windows in order to locate car keys.

As the weather cools and windows are left open during the day, police said they recommend closing and locking all doors and windows overnight on the lower levels.
