Lemont Police, Fire District Will Face Off In First Charity Softball Tournament
The inaugural event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on June 27 at the LHS sports complex, 12990 131st St.
LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Police Department and the Lemont Fire Protection District will face off this summer in the first-ever charity softball tournament between the two.
The inaugural event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on June 27 at the LHS sports complex, 12990 131st St., and will benefit the Elliestrong Forever Foundation.
The department shared that they are seeking sponsors for the event, as well as product donations, gift cards, monetary contributions, and promotional items or merchandise. There are three available tiers of sponsorship, depending on the monetary amount.

"Every contribution—big or small—helps strengthen the programs and people who make Lemont such a special place," the department said.
