Lemont Police to Hold Intruder Drill at SS Cyril & Methodius School

Police presence at Ss. Cyril & Methodius School Friday is only a drill, police said in an alert issued Thursday.

The Lemont Police Department Oct. 10 will be conducting its annual intruder alert drill at the schools. Residents should not be alarmed if they hear emergency sirens or blanks fired only for training purposes.

Training will take place from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. The students are not in school at the time of the training.
