Lemont Township Board Takes Seat

LEMONT, IL — The newly elected Lemont Township board took its seat at a recent meeting. Many familiar faces remain, but Trustee Jason Sanderson, Trustee Doug Wright and Highway Commissioner Mark Labnno will bring some fresh perspective to the board as the only newcomers.

"I am anxious to get started with an over all evaluation of the highway roads," Labno said. "As always if you have any concerns please call the Highway Department for assistance. I'm sure all the residents will join me in thanking our former Commissioner of 24 years Sig Vaznelis for his dedicated service to the Lemont community."

The Lemont Township Board includes Assessor Kenneth Jacobowski, Trustee Sanderson, Highway Commissioner Labno, Trustee Wright, Trustee Gregory Nicklas, Trustee Frank Wozniak, Supervisor Steven Rosendahl and Clerk Barbara Buschman.
