Lemont Township Holds Volunteer Clean-Up Day

LEMONT, IL — Help clean up Lemont at the Lemont Township's volunteer clean-up day on Saturday, Aug. 17. Volunteers are needed to help clean up the township's Woodland Sanctuary at 16300 Alba St.

Volunteers will meet at the township community center at 8:30 a.m. and clean-up ends at 11 a.m. The township recommends wearing appropriate work clothing that covers your arms and legs. Volunteers will help pick up litter and remove invasive species.

Volunteer work days will also be held Sept. 21 and Oct. 19.
