Lemont Township Kicks Off Earth Day Activities with Repurpose Sale, Clean-up Day
Lemont Township gets its Earth Day activities off to an early start.

LEMONT, IL - Lemont Township is kicking off Earth Day activities early this year with its Repurpose Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 8 at the Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba St. The township will also hold its first monthly clean-up day on April 8.
The township said residents can gather what they want to sell for the repurpose sale and rent a space, which will cost $10.
This will be the first year the township will hold the event, and April 8 will also mark the start of the township's monthly clean-up volunteer days. The clean-up volunteer days will be held on April 8, May 20, June 24, July 15, August 19, Sept. 16 and Oct. 21.

All proceeds of the repurpose sale will benefit Heritage Woodland Sanctuary.
