Gift cards and tags from the tree are due back Dec. 10 to the township.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont Township is hosting two holiday events to spread holiday cheer and give back to the community. The township is offering its annual "Giving Tree" holiday program, which helps provide Christmas gifts to families in need.
According to the township, you can take a tag from the tree and give a gift card of $25. The tags and gift cards are due back by Dec. 10 to the township, 1115 Warner Ave.
You can also support the program for Lemont families by making a direct donation to Lemont Township, and notate "Giving Tree" on the memo line, the township said.
