Lemont Township, VFW Hold Veterans Day Ceremony
The ceremony will then be followed by a post party with entertainment and raffles.
LEMONT, IL — The Lemont VFW Post 5819 and Lemont Township will host a Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 11. The event will begin at 11 a.m., and you should gather at the Veteran Memorial at Main and Lemont streets for the ceremony.
The post party will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the VFW, 15780 New Ave. There will be food, drinks, music and raffles. A fundraising effort will be held to raise money for the construction of a new memorial wall at the Lemont Township Community Center.
