Township's 'Lemontster Days' Oktoberfest Set for Friday

The Halloween party for adults will be from 6 to 11:30 p.m.

Lemont Township will get a jump on the Halloween fun, with the Lemontster Oktoberfest adult Halloween party fundraiser set for Friday, Oct. 24.

The event will be from 6 to 11:30 p.m., at Heritage Woodland Sanctuary and the community center, 16300 Alba St.

Live entertainment will kick off with local favorite Bruce Korosa, followed by blues/rock band “Reverend Dogman and the Heard.” Adult beverages include Otto Brandt Wines and Pollyanna Brewing Company of Lemont. A costume contest will also be held. Food provided by local restaurants including: Kitaro, Tap House, La Dolce Vita, Jimmy Johns, Rosatti’s Pizza and more.

Tickets are $15 or $10 for seniors 65 or older which includes local food favorites, soft drinks & entertainment.

The fun continues Sunday, with the Hooowl-a-Ween doggy costume party at Central Bark Dog Park, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The event is free.
