Lemont Veteran receives Illinois 200 Bicentenial Award

Lemont Township Trustee Frank Wozniak was honored December 3rd at the Navy Pier gala celebration!

On December 3rd, the Illinois Department of Veterans affairs honored Lemont's Frank Wozniak. He was one of 200 veterans from across the state of Illinois, who have gone above and beyond in serving their fellow veterans and communities.

Supervisor Steve Rosendahl accompanied Frank & his wife Anna to Navy Pier in Chicago to receive the award. "He has certainly continued his service for many years in our community and for that this is a well deserved honor."

He was personally congratulated by Govenor Bruce Rauner and Govenor elect J.B. Pritzer.
