Lemont Woman Dies From Coronavirus: Medical Examiner
The 65-year-old woman with the same address as Franciscan Village died from septic shock due to the coronavirus.
LEMONT, IL — A 65-year-old Lemont woman has died from the coronavirus, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. The woman died as a result of septic shock due to the coronavirus infection with high blood pressure, psoriatic arthritis and complications of right knee surgery as contributing factors.
The medical examiner's office listed the woman's address on Franciscan Drive, which is th address of Franciscan Village, an assisted and independent senior living facility in Lemont. Patch reported March 26 that a resident at Franciscan Village tested positive for the coronavirus.
The woman died Thursday at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
