Lemont Woman Killed In Head-On Crash: Police
A Lemont woman was killed Sunday night when another vehicle hit her car head-on, police said.

LEMONT, IL — Two people, including a Lemont woman, were killed in a car accident on Sunday night in Homer Glen, according to State Police. The two-vehicle crash happened at 9:26 p.m. Oct. 21 at Archer Avenue just south of 135th Street.
Jennifer Balice, 36, from Lemont, and Arunas Augustaitis, 62, from Elk Grove Village were both killed in the crash.
Police said Augustaitis' vehicle was traveling northeast on Archer when it crossed into the southbound lanes and struck Balice's vehicle head-on. Augustaitis was taken to an area hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.

Balice was pronounced deceased on the scene, according to police.
Illinois State Police continue to investigate the incident.
