Lemont's Cop On A Rooftop Returns May 15

LEMONT, IL — Cop on a Rooftop, the Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraising event for Special Olympics Illinois, will return on May 15 to two Lemont Dunkin' locations.

Lemont Police officers will be at the Dunkin' at Archer and Derby, and at 127th and State, from 6 a.m. to noon. Proceeds will benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.

According to police, coupons will be given for a free donut for anyone donating (while supplies last). T-shirts will be $20, hats are $15, pins are $5 and mugs are $10; all are available for donations as well.

This is the 23rd anniversary of the partnership of Dunkin' and the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. Fundraising events are held at Dunkin' locations across the Chicago area.
