Lemontster Days 2018: Schedule Of Events

LEMONT, IL — The annual Lemontster Days will return this fall, bringing with it events for every age. The series of events take place from late September through October, and features events like the Fall Fest, Halloween Hoedown and a movie night.

Here's a look at the events going on this fall around Lemont:

• Sept. 22, "A Night of Magic and Mystery" Masquerade Ball hosted by the Lemont Historical Society
• Sept. 27, Seventh Annual Autumn Craft Beer Tasting hosted by the Rotary Club of Lemont-Homer Glen
• Oct. 6, Fall Fest hosted by Lemont Park District
• Oct. 10, "Casper" movie in the park hosted by Lemont Park District
• Oct. 12, "Toasts to the Ghosts" hosted by Lemont Historical Society
• Oct. 13, Witches Walk hosted by Lemont Chamber of Commerce and Lemont Park Foundation
• Oct. 19, 20 and Oct. 26, 27, Haunted Canal Hay Ride hosted by Hope and Friendship Foundation and District 113A Educational Foundation
• Oct. 20, Halloween Blood Drive hosted by Lemont Park District
• Oct. 26, "Hocus Pocus" move night hosted by Lemont Historical Society
• Oct. 27, Halloween Hoedown hosted by village of Lemont
• Oct. 28, Hoowl-A-Ween Fun at Central Bark Dog Park hosted by Lemont Township
• Oct. 31, Trick-or-treating from 3 to 6:30 p.m.

Throughout October there is also the Trail of Scarecrows competition from Oct. 1-24 which is hosted by the Lemont Junior Woman's Club and Lemont Township. Lemont Township is also holding a food drive "Treat or Treat" for the Lemont Food Pantries for the entire month.
