LHS Announces Inductees For Athletic Hall Of Fame

Tammy (Jordan) Richter, Dave Molk and Graham Pocic are this year's inductees.

LEMONT, IL — The newest members of Lemont High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame will be introduced at a ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 17, at Crsytal Grand Banquets in Lemont. This year's 13th induction class will be Tammy (Jordan) Richter '94, Dave Molk '07 and Graham Pocic '08. LHS said the ceremony will begin with a reception at noon on Sept. 17. Lunch will be served at 12:45 p.m., with the induction beginning at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 each; reservations must be made through the Lemont High School Athletic Department by Wednesday, Sept. 13. Tammy (Jordan) Richter '94

Four-time IHSA Girls’ Bowling State Qualifier ... named team MVP as a senior in 1994, and placed fifth individually at the 1994 IHSA State Finals ... placed sixth individually at the 1992 IHSA State Finals ... helped Lemont to an IHSA Sectional title and a team state finals appearance in 1991 ... placed 13th individually at the 1991 IHSA State Finals ... won the 1994 Illinois Coca-Cola Youth Championship ... participated in the 1994 Coca-Cola International Youth Championships ... cited as a 1995 Illinois Young American Bowling Alliance Star of Tomorrow ... earned gold medals in the singles, mixed foursome and team events for Team USA at the 1997 Tournament of Americas ... bowled for two seasons at the University of Nebraska ... was a member of the Nebraska team that won the 1999 Intercollegiate Bowling Championships ... was a member of the Nebraska team that finished fourth at the 1998 Intercollegiate Bowling Championships ... helped Nebraska to five team titles during the 1997-98 season, including conference and regional crowns ... was part of a winning scratch doubles pair for Nebraska at the 1997 Las Vegas Invitational ... has bowled four 300 games in her career and has posted a high series of 806 ... two-time Joliet Area Women’s City individual titlist in all scratch events (2012, 2015) ... has paired with others to win multiple city and area titles ... seven-time Joliet Area Young American Bowling Alliance “Princess” ... member of Lemont’s state-qualifying Poms team as a sophomore in 1992.

Dave Molk '07

Three-year starter on the offensive line for Lemont (2004-06) .. helped Lemont to three IHSA Playoff appearances and a composite 27-7 record ... two-time all-conference honoree... team captain, all-area and all-state honoree as a senior in 2006 ... helped Lemont to an 8-3 record, a South Suburban Conference-Blue Division title, and an IHSA Playoff appearance in 2006 .. helped Lemont to a 10-2 record, a Suburban Prairie Conference-East Division title, and the school’s first IHSA Quarterfinal appearance in 2005 ... helped Lemont to a 9-2 record and an IHSA Playoff appearance in 2004 ... played in the 2007 East-West All-American Game ... four-year starter at center for the University of Michigan (2008-11) ... won the 2011 Rimington Trophy, which is awarded to the nation’s top center ... consensus first-team All-America selection in 2011 ... cited as the Big Ten’s Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2011 ... served as a team captain as a senior in 2011 as Michigan went 11-2 and won the Sugar Bowl ... selected to the 2012 Senior Bowl ... two-time first-team All-Big Ten honoree (2010, 2011) ... helped Michigan to a Gator Bowl appearance as a junior in 2010 ... won Michigan’s 2008 Iron Wolverine Award in recognition of his superior conditioning ... became Lemont’s first-ever NFL Draft selection when he was taken by the San Diego Chargers in the 7th Round in 2012 ... played more than 400 snaps for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014 ... also participated in track and field at Lemont.

Graham Pocic '08

Three-year starter on the offensive line for Lemont (2005-07) ... helped Lemont to three IHSA Playoff appearances and a composite 29-8 record ... three-time all-conference honoree ... all-area selection in both 2006 and 2007 ... team captain and all-state honoree as a senior in 2007 ... helped Lemont to an 11-3 record and an IHSA Class 6A State Runner-Up finish in 2007 ... helped Lemont to an 8-3 record, a South Suburban Conference-Blue Division title, and an IHSA Playoff appearance in 2006 ... helped Lemont to a 10-2 record, a Suburban Prairie Conference-East Division title, and the school’s first IHSA Quarterfinal appearance in 2005 ... four-star recruit who received more than 50 NCAA Division I scholarship offers ... played in the 2008 Offense-Defense All-Star Game ... earned four letters at the University of Illinois (2009-12) ... two-time All-Big 10 Honorable Mention selection (2010, 2012) ... voted by his teammates to serve as a team captain as a senior in 2012 ... cited as the team’s Outstanding Offensive Player in 2012 ... named to 2012 watch lists for the Outland Trophy and Rimington Trophy ... earned the 2011-12 Illinois Faculty Award for Exemplary Leadership ... anchored the Big Ten’s top rushing offense in 2010 ... shared the team’s Most Improved Player honors in 2010 ... member of 2010 (Texas Bowl) and 2011 (Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl) teams that won consecutive bowl games for the first time in program history ... signed as a free agent by the Houston Texans in 2012, and also was a member of the St. Louis Rams, Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers ... also participated in track and field at Lemont.
