LHS Band Parents Thank Residents for Community Support
Several recent fundraisers have shown the parents how much the town appreciates its high school marching band.

The Lemont High School Band Parents Association would like to thank the community of Lemont for their generous contributions to our very successful music days and first ever Practice-a-Thon. As several of our members stood out on the corners recently with our yellow vests and blue tubs, we were reminded once again of why we love this town.
The band program extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped and put some money into the bucket, money that will help our band program continue to grow and be a strong representation of our wonderful high school. Comments such as “ We love the band!” or “ I was in the program years ago” made us smile as we realize that we are a such a wonderful part of Lemont’s legacy.

Our first ever Practice-a-thon, held on August 29, was also a great day of fun for our band. We were able to invite the community to see what it takes for our young talented musicians to put together their competition show for the season. A big thank you to all those who came out to support us and who hopefully had fun with our dunk tank, games, face painting and delicious food provided by Gelsosomos and Muffins.
The LHS Band Parent Association would also like to thank the members of the Lemont High School Marching Band for being an amazing and dedicated group of young people. We wish them luck in their competition season
