LHS Choirs Set for Disney-Themed Concert

Lemont High School's choirs are ready to welcome the community for their fall choral concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School’s choirs are ready to welcome the community for their fall choral concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, in the school’s Performing Arts Center. The school said the choir and A Capella choir both will perform at the Disney-themed event. Both groups are under the direction of Lemont High School music teacher Stephanie Cesaroni.

Admission is free, doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and seating is general for attendees.

Lemont High School’s choir will perform medleys featuring songs from Disney favorites such as “The Lion King,” “Mary Poppins,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Tarzan,” “Moana,” “Brave,” “Mulan,” “Tangled,” “Hercules,” “UP,” “Aladdin,” and “The Little Mermaid.”

The school said the A Capella group will then entertain with “Over the Rainbow” and “Hey Jude.” The concert will feature vocal soloists, a violin solo, lighting effects, and accompaniment from Sarah Maranto.
