LHS Football Playoffs: Lemont Faces Kennedy In First Round
Lemont will play Kennedy at 7 p.m. on Friday at LHS.
LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School boys' football team will play in the IHSA Class 6A playoffs, facing off against Chicago's Kennedy High School in the first round.
Lemont will play Kennedy at 7 p.m. on Friday at LHS, according to the IHSA website.
Kennedy is 5-3, while Lemont is 9-0. In regular season play, Lemont defeated St. Charles East, Nazareth Academy, Shepard, Hillcrest, Thornton Fractional North, Bremen, Tinley Park, Thornton Fractional South and Oak Forest.

The winner of Friday's game will advance to the second round of playoffs and face the winner of the Springfield and Rock Island match-up.
The championship match for Class 6A will be held Nov. 27 at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb.
