LHS Holds Fall Play, Gallery 306
Gallery 306 and the fall play will be held Oct. 31 through Nov. 2 at LHS.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School Drama Club’s fall play, “The Legend of Sammy’s Swamp,” will be featured in the school’s Performing Arts Center from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2. In conjunction with the fall play, the school’s Art Department will host its “Illuminated” art exhibition in Gallery 306.
The school said “The Legend of Sammy’s Swamp” is set to run in the school’s Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. nightly. Tickets may be purchased at the door, and are $10 for adults and $7 for children, senior citizens and students with a valid school ID. Students, faculty and staff also may purchase tickets during lunch periods beginning Monday, Oct. 28.
The exhibit in Gallery 306 is a student art show with a fitting title, "Illuminated," as it will be its first since the gallery added track lighting through a grant from the Lemont High School Educational Foundation, the school said. “Illuminated” will be open from 5:45-6:45 p.m. nightly prior to the performances of “The Legend of Sammy’s Swamp,” spotlighting a variety of work from Lemont High School students.
