LHS Hosts Google Education On Tour Event
Lemont High School District 210 was named a Google for Education Reference District in July 2018.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School is one of 10 Illinois school districts named a Google for Education Reference District, and recently hosted a Google Education on Tour event Nov. 18.
The school said the event allowed more than 40 administrators, technology directors, curriculum creators and school leaders to have an interactive experience designed to help schools harness the power of technology in the classroom with Google for Education tools. Topics included impact stories, classroom visits, teacher panels, hands-on sessions with Google tools, product demonstrations and future roadmap planning.
Less than one year after debuting its LNS@LHS 1:1 Teaching & Learning Initiative, Lemont High School District 210 was named a Google for Education Reference District in July 2018.

According to the school, Google for Education Reference Districts demonstrate excellence and thought leadership through the innovative use of technology, including G Suite for Education and Chromebooks, to drive impact and positive learning outcomes. Some benefits of this recognition include the opportunity to join Google’s Trusted Tester program, invitations to future Product Roadmap sessions, and the ability to host GoogleEDU focused events, such as the Google Education on Tour.
