LHS Junior Achievement Seeks Lemont Scary Stories For Book
The deadline to submit stories is Thursday, Oct. 31.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School’s Junior Achievement company is producing a Lemont-centric book of scary stories, and residents have the opportunity to share their most frightening tales for possible inclusion in the book.
The school said the book, “Nightmare on State Street,” will feature hair-raising tales that take place in Lemont. Stories can come from all Lemont High School stakeholders, including students, parents/guardians, faculty and staff, and the community at-large. Art students from Lemont High School and Old Quarry Middle School will make the stories come alive with original illustrations.
The Junior Achievement Board is accepting stories online; visit www.lhs210.net and choose ‘Junior Achievement’ under the “Student Activities” tab. The deadline to submit stories is Thursday, Oct. 31. The school said the Junior Achievement Board will narrow the list of stories that will be included in the book.
