LHS Mathletes Capture Conference Blue Division Title

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School Mathletes squad captured this year's South Suburban Conference-Blue Division title, the school shared on Facebook. The team won first place in 12 out of 14 events to capture the title.

The Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics normally holds a state competition for Mathletes in the spring. Last year, the team placed 26th in the Division 3AA state finals.

The Lemont team is coached by teacher Angela Marshall.
