LHS Music Department Presents Two Holiday Concerts
Two upcoming holiday concerts will be held at LHS.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School music department invites the community to jingle down to the school’s Performing Arts Center as it spreads some holiday cheer with two upcoming holiday concerts. The concerts, which will be held on Thursday, Dec. 7, and Thursday, Dec. 14, will feature different levels of the school’s band and the choir. Both concerts will begin at 7 p.m., with the doors opening for general seating at 6:30 p.m.
The school said On Dec. 7, members of the band and choir will form numerous small ensembles to put on a “Prism” concert. The Dec. 14 event will feature both the bands and choir in a more traditional concert, with the ensembles performing full group numbers.
Lemont High School’s bands are under the direction of Matt Doherty and Dave Nommensen, while Stephanie Cesaroni conducts the choirs. The band and choral programs will perform a range of selections over the two events.
