LHS Physical Education Department Gives Tech Update To Board
This was the fifth in a series of presentations to the board by Lemont High School's academic departments during this school year.

LEMONT, IL — At its March 12 meeting, the Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education received an update on how the Physical Education Department is benefiting from the school’s new 1:1 teaching and learning program. The school said this was the fifth in a series of presentations to the Board of Education by Lemont High School’s academic departments during the 2017-18 school year.
According to the school, Physical Education, Health and Driver Education Chair John Coneset led a presentation illustrating how the use of polar heart rate monitors and associated educational applications are enhancing student fitness. Coneset was also joined by teachers Tracy Rainey and Brian Storako and student Bella Bercher.
After years of careful planning and preparation, Lemont High School’s 1:1 teaching and learning program - LNS@LHS - was fully implemented beginning with the 2017-18 school year. The school said each Lemont High School student is issued a Chromebook, enhancing academic opportunities across the school’s curriculum.
