LHS Set For Fall Play, Student Art Show
"Pride and Prejudice" will be performed at LHS, and a student art show will also be held on the same days.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont High School Drama Club will put on "Pride and Prejudice" as the fall play. The school said the play will run from Friday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Nov. 3. In conjunction with the fall play, the school’s Art Department will be featuring its “Fresh” art exhibition in “GALLERY 306.”
According to the school, the production of “Pride and Prejudice” is set to run in the school’s Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. nightly. Tickets may be purchased at the door, and are $10 for adults and $7 for children, senior citizens and students with a valid school ID. Students, faculty and staff also may purchase tickets during lunch periods beginning Monday, Oct. 29.
The exhibit in “GALLERY 306” is a student art show that will be judged by alumna Jessica Kaminsky ‘11. The exhibit will be open from 5:45-6:45 p.m. nightly prior to the performances of “Pride and Prejudice,” spotlighting a variety of outstanding work from Lemont High School students, the school said.

“Pride and Prejudice” will be performed under the direction of Paula Smith, with Leslie Kane serving as the assistant director.
