Matt, a football and wrestling standout at JCA, has weathered two brain surgeries as well as radiation and chemotherapy treatments over the past few months.
But although Matt may attend a different school, Lemont softball coach Chris Traina considers Matt’s dad, Jim, “part of the Lemont softball family,” as since 2003, the senior Mammosser has worked to keep the school’s athletic fields in top shape as a member of Lemont High School’s buildings and grounds staff.
