LHS Students Head To IDEA State Competition

LEMONT, IL — Six Lemont High School students will head to the Illinois Design Educators Association state competition on April 22, according to the school's Facebook page.
LHS' Technology Student Association competed at the IDEA regional at Joliet Junior College last month, according to the school. Medalists for Lemont included: Jonathan Gronski (1st, Architectural Board), Jacob Sewell (2nd, Introductory CAD), Maya Zielonka (2nd, Architectural Board), Andrew Kovar (3rd, Introductory CAD), the trio of Nick Buczyna, Robert DiDomenico and Logan Staubus (1st, Engineering Design), and the trio of Erin Barndollar, Artur Bugara and Mitchell Predki (2nd, Architectural Design).
The top two in individual competitions, and the winners of group events at regional competition advance to state, according to LHS.
