LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School District 210 Superintendent Dr. Mary Ticknor has been elected to the Suburban School Superintendents organization. The district said this group is limited to a maximum of 150 active superintendents from some of the nation’s most outstanding suburban school districts.

The group pools ideas and information from its membership, both through regular meetings and through informal contacts throughout the school year. The district said the Suburban School Superintendents counts among its membership many former School Superintendents Association Presidents and officers, as well as nationally selected superintendents of the year.

Superintendents who are nominated and ultimately elected to the Suburban School Superintendents organization are held in high regard as school district leaders, both regionally and nationally, according to the district.
