Lifelong Lemont Resident, Avid Traveler Caryl Garling, 81

Caryl Marie Garling nee Lind, 81, lifelong resident of Lemont, passed away February 5, 2015, with her family at her side. Caryl was an avid traveler, she especially loved Door County. She loved music, nature, her church, Bethany Lutheran Church and most importantly loved her family. Survived by her husband Donald Garling; three daughters Kim (Floyd) Kujawa, Susan (Gary) Gray and Beth (John) Howell; five grandchildren Brent and Stephen Kujawa, and Zachary, Cara and Jane Howell; her sister Virginia (James) Connelly; a sister-in-law Rosalie Lind; and numerous nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her brother James Lind. Lying in state Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 500 Lemont St. Lemont. Interment Bethany Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church.
