Lighting Up Lemont Display Returns For Holiday Season

LEMONT, IL — Lemont will begin its annual Lighting Up Lemont holiday light display on Nov. 25.

The light display has grown throughout the downtown area over the past several years, and features large light-up ornaments, candy canes and other holiday decor pieces. The display is sponsored by CITGO, the Downtown Merchants Association and the Village of Lemont.

The display is set to begin on Nov. 25, and run through Jan. 31.

The Village's Hometown Holiday event will also kick off the holiday season on Dec. 2, with the annual tree lighting planned for 5 p.m. during the event.
