Long-Time Lemont Police Commander Retires

LEMONT, IL — Long-time Lemont Police Commander Daniel Tully has retired after 29 years of service in the department. Tully started his career in Lemont in April 1989 and has served as a Patrol Officer, Detective and Sergeant prior to being promoted to Commander in 2006, the department said.

Tully has served in both Administration and Operations. The department said Tully has been an integral part of the Lemont Police Department Command Team for 12 years.

Tully said he would like to thank the village of Lemont and its citizens for 29 years of support in helping to keep Lemont a great place to live and work.
