Luna The Dog Found In Lemont

Luna has been found.

LEMONT, IL — UPDATE: Luna is home and reunited with her family. The family received a call from a resident in Abbey Oaks subdivision who found the dog.

The family thanked the Lemont community who got involved with the search for Luna and helped the family find their dog.

A Lemont family is searching for their dog, Luna, that went missing around 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6. The family has received several tips after sharing pictures on social media, and Luna was seen Tuesday running along Walker Road.

The family said they went to Walker Road and ended up seeing her on Apple Avenue, but when they called for her, Luna ran off. Luna is about 30 pounds and timid, but friendly, according to her family.

The family said Luna did have an ear/sinus infection, which they think may be causing her to be confused.
