Man Arrested After Home Invasion In Lemont: Cops
The incident was not random and the victim and offender knew each other, police said.

LEMONT, IL — A Lemont man was arrested for home invasion after an incident on Nov. 13 in the 300 block of Short Street, police said. Samuel Guerrero, 28, of the 700 block of Hickory Street, was identified as the offender and taken into custody on Nov. 16.
Police said they first responded for a report of battery and through investigation they determined the incident was also a home invasion. The battery was over money and Guerrero had grabbed the homeowner by the chest, causing injury.
The incident was not random and the victim and offender knew each other, police said.

Guerrero also had an outstanding warrant out of Cook County for failure to pay child support. He was processed and was taken to the Bridgeview court house where he was issued a $25,000 bond.
